Aluminum Cans for Burned Children (ACBC) has distributed gaiter face coverings to the brave men and women firefighters in our region to thank them for their service during the current pandemic, as well as everything they do to support ACBC on a day-to-day basis, from collecting aluminum cans to providing fire safety education to local youth.
Gaiters were delivered to 17 Summit County departments, 11 Stark County departments, 3 Portage County departments, and 2 Medina County departments, along with the staff in the Burn Center at Akron Children’s Hospital. Burn survivors that have attended our local burn support group and burn camp will also receive gaiters.
