Akron Children’s earns fifth Plain Dealer Top Workplaces honors

Akron Children’s Hospital has been recognized as a Top Workplace by the Cleveland Plain Dealer for the fifth year in a row. The Top Workplaces honor is based entirely on employee feedback through a survey administered by Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture such as alignment, connection and execution.

Seventy-one percent of the Children’s employees who received the survey completed the questionnaire. Employees gave the hospital high marks in several areas including: Values (Akron Children’s Hospital operates by strong values), Direction (I believe Akron Children’s Hospital is going in the right direction) and Open-mindedness (Akron Children’s Hospital encourages different points of view).
