Akron Children’s again earns ERC NorthCoast 99 best workplace recognition

Akron Children’s Hospital is honored to be recognized by ERC as one of Northeast Ohio’s best places to work. This is the 13^th time Children’s has earned a NorthCoast 99 award.

“It’s gratifying to be recognized by ERC, but the fact that the NorthCoast 99 award is based on employee feedback makes it truly meaningful,” said Rhonda Larimore, chief human resources officer at Akron Children’s. “Our employees demonstrate each day their commitment to our mission of caring for children and families. They put service above self.

“They truly understand that working at Akron Children’s is more than a job,” she added. “That’s what drives our leadership team to ensure that this is a place where they are respected and rewarded – and where they can continue to pursue their careers while making an impact on the lives of others.”

Presented by ERC and now in its 21^st year, NorthCoast 99 recognizes 99 great workplaces in the region for their efforts to attract, develop, retain and motivate their top performers. ERC, founded in 1920, is dedicated to human resources solutions and provides an array of services including training, consulting, research and HR support.
