Specialists in rheumatology from Akron Children’s Hospital are now seeing patients in North Canton at the hospital’s Health Center.
Current and new patients are welcome to schedule appointments at 6076 Whipple Ave. N.W. Nancy Delnay, pediatric nurse practitioner in the department of rheumatology at Akron Children’s, will see patients in the new location. To make an appointment, call 330-543-8574.
Akron Children’s specialists in rheumatology diagnose and treat patients from birth through adolescence with inflammation of joints and muscles and autoimmune diseases. Patients are typically referred due to joint pain or swelling, muscle pain or weakness, back pain, rashes, recurrent fever or fevers of unknown origin, fatigue and weakness.
In addition to rheumatology, the North Canton Health Center provides families with convenient access to pediatric primary care, rehabilitative services, allergy/immunology, cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, neurology, orthopedics, physiatry, pulmonology, sports medicine, urology and vision. The health center opened in May 2019.
