Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics’ Hudson office welcomes new provider

Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics welcomes Shaun Whisenant, M.D., to its Hudson office. The practice – located at 1365 Corporate Drive, Suite A – provides pediatric primary care for infants, children and teens.

Dr. Whisenant earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland. He completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland. He also earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Dayton in Dayton.

Dr. Whisenant lives in University Heights with his wife, Kori, and sons, Aaron and Nathan.

The Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics care team in Hudson also includes Drs. Sarah Adams, John Astrino, Janis Galm, Patricia Hord, Jeffrey McRaven, Ashley Ryan and Erin Spies and pediatric nurse practitioner Joan Paskert.

With same-day, evening and Saturday appointments available, Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics offers:

Patients who require specialized care receive referrals to board-certified specialty physicians affiliated with Akron Children’s Hospital.
