Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics welcomes two providers to Warren

Dr. Alex Miksit

Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics welcomes Alex Miksit, M.D., and Stanka Kankipati, M.D., to its Warren Downtown office. The practice – located at 661 Mahoning Ave. N.W. – provides pediatric primary care for infants, children and teens.

Dr. Miksit earned his medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine. He completed his pediatric residency at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland. He also earned a bachelor of science degree in biology from the University of Akron.

Dr. Miksit lives in Warren with his wife and son.

Dr. Stanka Kankipati

Dr. Kankipati received his medical degree from Andhra Medical College in Visakhapatnam, India. He also earned a master’s degree in biology from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. He completed his residency in pediatrics at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in New York, New York.

He previously worked as a general pediatrician at Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg, Oregon, and was also a general pediatrician at CCP Laurel Pediatrics in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Kankipati lives in Solon with wife, Rashmitha, and son, Bhuwan.

The Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics care team in Warren Downtown also includes Dr. Nirmala Parajuli and pediatric nurse practitioner Allison Lantz.

With same-day, evening and Saturday appointments available, Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics offers:

Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics providers are dedicated to treating the “whole child,” working with parents/caregivers to help children reach growth and developmental milestones. Patients who require specialized care receive referrals to board-certified specialty physicians affiliated with Akron Children’s Hospital.
