Akron Children’s Hospital has moved its Beachwood Specialty office and is adding new services.
Now located at 3733 Park East Drive, Suite 230, the office includes services from specialists in cardiology, rheumatology and nephrology. Allergy and immunology have also been added and will start seeing patients Feb. 10.
In cardiology, patients are seen by Dr. J.R. Bockoven, Dr. Vanessa Hormaza and Dr. Ira Taub. The office provides cardiac care for congenital heart disease, pediatric acquired heart disease and arrhythmias including consults, electrocardiography, echocardiography, arrhythmia monitoring and stress tests. Dr. Stephen Cha sees patients in nephrology for congenital or acquired kidney or urinary tract disease including consults and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring. For appointments, call 330-543-8950.
Dr. Steven Spalding sees patients in rheumatology for complex diseases and syndromes that attack or compromise the immune system. For appointments, call 330-543-8574.
Dr. Brian Schroer sees patients for allergies, asthma and immunological diseases. The office provides skin tests, blood allergy tests and food challenges. For appointments, call 330-543-0140.
