Cause for Rejection:
Must be ordered in conjunction with Maternal Cell Contamination Analysis. Must collect maternal blood and cultured amniotic fluid or cultured choronic villus for testing to be performed.
Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) with Fragment Analysis
Special Instructions:
Prenatal Sample Cultured Amniotic Fluid or Cultured Chorionic Villus (Rm Temp) and 3.0 mL EDTA Maternal Whole Blood Refrig. (1.0 mL min. EDTA whole blood) Maternal Cell Contamination, Blood Test (LAB4139) must be ordered with Maternal Cell Contamination Analysis Test (LAB 4138).
