Over 250 friends, family and supporters gathered on Tuesday, May 7 at The Lake Club in Poland, Ohio to celebrate the amazing community of support that surrounds Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley and the children and families it serves.
The highlight of the evening were the awards that recognized the extraordinary contributions of John and Denise Hirschbeck and The Magic of Michael Foundation, recipients of the 2019 Champions for our Valley’s Children award. In addition, Akron Children’s also recognized Children’s Advocate awardees Julie Costas, The Piggyback Foundation of Youngstown and Sight for All United.
Thank you to all our supporters. It is because of you that Akron Children’s Hospital is able to serve the children and families of the Mahoning Valley. We couldn’t do it with you.
