Inspirational patient stories dominated our 10 most-watched YouTube channel videos for the year. But there were still plenty of views left for our ever-popular Doggie Brigade and our amazing nursing staff. 2. Wells heads home from the NICU after 112-day stay – Born at just 22 weeks, Wells Wolbert showed he was small but mighty when he was healthy enough to go home with parents Megan and Adam more than a week before his original due date.

4. Energy drinks pose health concerns for children and teens – Danielle Dimengo, a registered dietitian at Akron Children’s, says the combination of excess caffeine and added sugars in energy drinks could lead to insomnia, irritability, and other issues in kids and teens.

8. Boone goes home from the NICU! – After 9 months in the NICU, Boone headed home! Congrats, NICU grad! 🎓
