What are you looking forward to and what do you think some of the challenges will be in your new role?
I’m looking forward to working with great teams and people who are committed to providing the highest quality care and service for our patients and families. As far as challenges, the health care industry is in a period where patients are putting on their consumer goggles and looking for provider organizations to deliver care in increasingly competitive ways. It is challenging, yet exciting, to know we are being tasked to transform and enhance the way we deliver care and provide service to be more innovative, efficient and price conscious.

My first paid job was at a bagel shop. The experience helped instill in me the importance of customer service and putting the priorities of others first, even when my personal to-do list may be a mile long.
