It was an epic battle with Mother Nature, but the Superhero Window Washers made their triumphant return to Akron Children’s Hospital on June 5. These proud grime fighters delighted children with high fives, hugs, selfies and plenty of treats to go around.
Thanks to our friends at American National Skyline, Inc. for making this possible for the 8th year. Check out the photos below for a look at some of the fun. You can also be part of the action by watching these Facebook Live videos:

Annie Taggart, 5, made a special trip to the hospital with her siblings just for this fun event and got to meet Batman.

Look! Up in the sky! It’s the Superhero window washers!

A rain storm may have delayed their work, but the Superheroes waited it out until it was safe to descend from the roof of the hospital.

Dirt was no match for the squeegee-wielding heroes!

Batman’s super smile encouraged many to continue battles near and far.

Catwoman and Princess Leia also joined in the fun.

The superheroes even made time to visit patient rooms to cheer up little ones like, Benjamin Chikosky, 7.

Thanks to many generous donors, parents and patients like Ethan Cole received a gift bag. Contributors were Suntrol, Professional Roofing Services, Trivs Restaurant, Mulligans Bar & Grille, The Local, Mike and Amanda Sambor, Wiant Jewelers, Tupperware (Jim & Pam Clift), O’Charley’s Restaurant, Jett’s Pizza, Shinto Japanese Steakhouse, Jim and Irene Kazee and Schindler Elevator.

Another job well done at Akron Children’s Hospital. Until next time, superheroes, stay safe!
