Grand Rounds: Syncope and Autonomic Disorders

Objectives (Educational Content) :

1. Recognize the diversity of autonomic disorders. 2. Discuss the diagnosis of autonomic disorders. 3. Evaluate the treatment of autonomic disorders.

Target Audience:

General pediatricians, family physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, social workers, psychologists and nurses.

Identified Gap:

Due to the number of underlying diseases, conditions and side effects from various medications that can lead to autonomic disorders, enhanced awareness of these issues is essential in diagnosis and treatment of the pediatric patient.
