1. Illustrate the pharmacology of marijuana. 2. Examine an overview of Ohio’s Medical Marijuana Program. 3. Interpret current concerns surrounding legalization of medical marijuana.
Target Audience:
General pediatricians, family physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, social workers, psychologists and nurses.
Identified Gap:
Medical use of marijuana and its legality continues to be a topic of much discussion as several states have already approved its use for various medical conditions. Whether or not it is truly effective remains a concern for many physicians.
