Join us each week as we get outside for fun, health, and fitness! Walking is one of the best and safest ways to improve heart health, increase energy, assist with weight loss and/or maintenance, and improve sleep. Be sure to stop by the Walking Thursday Kickoff table between 11am-2pm on Thursday, April 5th in the Kids' Café! Everyone is welcome! Walk outside the hospital on campus, or walk indoors on our indoor walking routes. Walk for at least 20 minutes any time each Thursday - it can even be at home, on the treadmill, in your neighborhood, etc. Sign in each week by Friday at noon to be eligible for the weekly random prize drawing! Wear gym shoes and clothes you feel comfortable in. In the event of rain or cold temperatures, pick up a handout for the indoor walking routes. Free pedometers available for all participants! * Please complete and return a general liability form and workers comp form once each year if you plan to participate and want to be eligible for our weekly prize drawings.
