Akron Children's speech pathologists have master's degrees, are licensed by the state of Ohio, and hold Certificates of Clinical Competency from the American Speech and Hearing Association. Licensed Speech Pathology Aides also assist the therapy process.
Evaluation includes careful observation and measurement of a child's speech and language abilities. From these results, we develop treatment plans designed for your child's special needs. Once your child begins therapy, our clinician will measure his progress to set new goals for learning.
