In February, 5-month-old Torence Thomas of Youngstown underwent his last round of chemotherapy at Akron Children's Hospital in his battle against neuroblastoma. Damon Maloney of WKBN TV talked to his parents on his last day of treatment, as well as his oncologist, Dr. John Fargo.
Now in remission, Torence's story captured the hearts of the Mahoning Valley community, which is still rallying behind his family. Recently, 7th graders at Howland High School raised money to help support the Thomas family.
