In this year’s TV campaign, we’ve turned the camera on our doctors, so you can see how intensely they care for every child – and family – they treat.
One of these doctors is Kerwyn Jones. Dr. Jones is the director of Orthopedic Medical Education at Akron Children’s Hospital. He is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and holds a subspecialty certificate in sports medicine.
He knows that an ACL injury affects a teen’s ability to participate in sports, which also affects his or her social life. That’s why he believes in treating the whole athlete, and not just the injury.
U.S. News & World Report ranks Akron Children's division of orthopedics one of the best among children's hospitals nationwide. And according to surveys of northeast Ohio parents, Akron Children's Hospital has consistently been parents' first choice for orthopedics and orthopedic surgery.
