Blanket and lizard go long way in surgery

2014-03-24 16:53:14 by Christine Galperin - Patient Family, as posted on the blog.

I couldn't imagine a better hospital experience for my son. He was nervous going into his tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy and the nurses and staff couldn't have been more amazing.

Now, recovering at home - he is still clinging to the blanket and lizard (stuffed animal) he was given. They are absolutely his security items through this process.

It is always hard to see your own child go through pain, such as this surgery. But, since my son had to, there is no place I would rather him be then Akron Children's Hospital.
