Our daughter has been diagnosed with hydronephrosis of her left kidney. Over the last few months Olivia has had to have surgery and multiple procedures done at Akron Children's. It has been a very difficult time for our family.
Just this past week Olivia has developed another kidney infection and has been really sick. Dr. McMahon and his staff have gone above and beyond for her. They have faithfully called at least twice daily to check on her and see if we had any questions.
That is just one more of the many reasons we have so much faith in Akron Children's and the services they provide to our family.
Having been born prematurely, Olivia is now 15 months old now. When she was only 5 weeks old, she became very sick in the middle of the night. We rushed her to the ER at Akron Children's Beeghly campus. Once Olivia was there, they quickly diagnosed her with RSV and she was admitted for four days. We will be forever grateful to the dedicated nurses and doctors who helped save our little girl. They truly are angels. Thank you so much!!
