Last May my son Bryan was born at 25 weeks gestation and came to Akron Children's Hospital. Because of all the wonderful nurses, NICU doctors, and surgical team, my son is home and doing well.
He is quite delayed but doing better since he started therapy at Children's. My son spent close to 5.5 months in the NICU there. While he was there he had to have a PDA ligation, bowel resection, ostamy reversal, a broviac line, and another bowel resection done. He had NEC twice and he has a small PVL.
We are so thankful to everyone there for all of their work to keep our little guy alive. He has quite the personality now and he is trying so hard to catch up. Being in the NICU was very hard and very trying times but the support there is amazing.
Again we just wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone for their hard work.
