Four weeks from today we will meet our little peanut. The countdown is on. Randy and I picked up the paint for the nursery last night and will be getting the stencil in the next few days.
Randy painted over the Star Wars spaceship that the previous owner had painted on the wall. It didn’t really go with the theme we were looking for. We were surprised how well it covered up.
The crib set has been ordered and should be shipped in the next few weeks. We decided if it’s not here by the time Peanut comes it’s not a big deal because our little bundle of joy will be staying in our room for a while anyway. Not to mention Randy is a busy body and will need a project to work on while Peanut and I sleep.
Our appointment went well last week with Dr. Stewart. We are still right on track as far as my belly’s growth and blood pressure. Peanut’s heart rate is still in the 130s. Our next ultrasound will be scheduled for our visit next week. We have a visit scheduled for tomorrow afternoon to check for strep B.
My new job has kept me busy. I’m not sure what I’d do if I were working full time. My mom, aunt and granny spent the day in Charm, Ohio, yesterday looking for fabrics for Peanut’s quilt. These lovely ladies are making the quilt and curtains for the room. I’m looking forward to seeing the finished product.
