2013 flu vaccine guards against four strains (VIDEO)

Among the many changes to the annual flu vaccine, this is the first year that it has been designed to protect against four strains, instead of the usual three.

In this Children's Channel video, Dr. Blaise Congeni, director of infectious disease at Akron Children's Hospital, discusses this "quadrivalent" vaccine, as well as several other updates to this year's flu shots.
