My son Mason was born February 15 2010. He was 4 weeks premature.Mason was sent to Akron Children's Hospital neonatal intensive care unit. He was treated by Dr. Jeffrey Butler.
We were told that Mason was very sick and that they had to rule out why Mason was not responding to the medication that they had him on.
Miraculously overnight, Mason had responded to the medication and was breathing almost totally on his own. Mason continued to progress daily and after 2 long weeks we had our baby at home.
I love Akron Children's Hospital, they made our son well and also took care of us while Mason was ill. We felt at home there as well as our other son Cooper who had to make the trips up there as well.
A lovely nurse even gave our older son Cooper a bear, that really touched our hearts. I thank you from the bottom of our heart.
