Hi! I am writing you today to let you know what a great job the hospital is doing. On Jan. 6th I went to the emergency room with my child who was having stomach pain. The nurses and staff were so great. They took my child right back and we were seen and being taken care of within minutes of being in a room. The doctors did a great job. I really liked the way that you had more than one staff person coming into the room to look at her to make sure they were finding the same thing.
My daughter did have to have surgery the next day which was done by Dr. Andrews. He took the time to let us know what was going on. They thought they were taking out a lot of things but all that came out was her gallbladder. She spent a week in the hospital on the 6th floor with a really, really great staff that just kept her laughing all the time. My daughter is doing great and you would not even know that she had surgery. I thank the hospital for that. Thank you for the great staff you have at Akron Children's. Keep up the good work.
