In this year’s TV campaign, we’ve turned the camera on our doctors, so you can see how intensely they care for every child – and family – they treat.
One of these doctors is Roger Hudgins. He’s the director of Pediatric Neurosurgery and co-director of Akron Children’s NeuroDevelopmental Science Center. He treats, and many times, cures children with epilepsy – eliminating the need for medications.
Although neurosurgery is very serious, Dr. Hudgins takes time to play with each child he meets. In fact, that’s how he does his exams.
Dr. Hudgins works closely with pediatric neurologists, neuropsychologists, physiatrists (pediatricians who specialize in physical and rehabilitation medicine) and developmental-behavioral pediatricians to treat children and teens with brain, spinal cord and nervous system disorders.
