Safe Sitter is a one day, nationally recognized babysitter/babysitting training course offered to boys and girls ages 11-13.
Participants learn how to handle minor emergencies, including life-saving techniques; age-appropriate activities for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school-age children; safety and security precautions; basic child care skills such as diapering and feeding; and how to manage those hard-earned dollars.
Details: Students need to bring a sack lunch and a drink (or money for the soft drink machine) each day.
Students who have a contagious illness such as a cold or fever blister (cold sore) cannot take the class.
Registration: Complete the registration form, sign and mail with your check for $50 made out to Akron Children's Hospital.

Class size is limited. To ensure a spot in class, student registration must arrive three weeks before class date.
