401(a) plan - The hospital will contribute a percentage of pay, based on a combination of age plus years of eligible service, to physicians working 1,000 or more hours in a year, and who remain employed through December 31.
403(b) plan - We offer an optional retirement savings program that allows you to invest pre-tax contributions into mutual funds or a stable value account. Most employees are eligible for an employer match after one year of employment.

Employee assistance program - Confidential counseling services are available for you, your spouse or your dependent children through Carebridge. These confidential services are available to you and your eligible dependents cost free.
Continuing medical education (CME) - The hospital sponsors more than 80 CME activities every year. Physicians receive time off and reimbursement for CME activities at and away from the hospital based on their job classification.
Adoption reimbursement program - Financial assistance is available to employees upon finalization of their adoption process.
Sick child care - A care center for mildly-ill children is available at the Akron campus so you can keep your children close when they aren’t feeling well. The hospital subsidizes a portion of the cost.
Breastfeeding support - A breast pump and private area also are available to employees at the main campus.
