Psychiatry and Psychology - Overview

Akron Children's Division of Pediatric Psychiatry and Psychology includes a 12-bed inpatient unit, as well as outpatient treatment programs.

Conditions that may lead to a referral include developmental or emotional problems, traumatic stress problems, sexual or physical abuse, psychological components of physical illness, learning problems, changes in dietary habits or suicidal concerns.
