Parents often have a lot of questions on their journey through adoption.
To answer those questions and help parents-to-be learn more about adoption, Akron Children’s Hospital will host a panel discussion called, “First-hand Views of Adoption” on Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to noon. The event is sponsored by Akron Children’s Oak Adoptive Health Center and Caring for Kids, Inc., of Cuyahoga Falls.
Keynote speaker/moderator Danita Harris, anchor at WEWS TV/NewsNet 5, and a diverse panel will share their personal stories of adoption. Topics will include:
There will also be time for a question-and-answer session following the panel discussion.
This free event will be held in the Considine Professional Building Auditorium, 215 W. Bowery St., at Akron Children’s Hospital. Refreshments will be served.
