Pediatric orthopedic surgeon Kenneth Bono, MD, has joined Akron Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Bono recently completed a pediatric orthopedic surgery and scoliosis fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus. Prior to that, he completed an orthopedic surgery residency and internship at Akron General Medical Center.
Dr. Bono, a New Jersey native, earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University.
As part of Akron Children’s Center for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Dr. Bono will treat infants through young adults with a variety of orthopedic problems, ranging from simple fractures to sports injuries to complex orthopedic disorders requiring surgery. The center’s team of providers includes orthopedic surgeons, physicians specializing in sports medicine, physical therapists, athletic trainers, and nurse practitioners.
Dr. Bono sees patients at Akron Children’s in downtown Akron and at Akron Children's Beeghly campus in Boardman.
