Robert Parry, MD, has joined Akron Children’s Hospital as a pediatric general surgeon.
Previously, Dr. Parry served on the medical staffs of MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Southwest General Health Center, and Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. He also served as an associate professor in the Department of Surgery and Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University College of Medicine.
After earning his medical degree from the Cornell University Medical College in New York, Dr. Parry completed his surgery residency at the National Naval Medical Center at Bethesda, MD. He completed a pediatric surgical research fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and a pediatric surgical fellowship at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
Dr. Parry will perform a wide variety of surgeries on infants, children and teens at Akron Children’s campus in downtown Akron.
