The Summer Pediatric Research Scholars Program is part of Akron Children's Rebecca D. Considine Research Institute and offers college students opportunities to gain experience in clinical and quality improvement research in northeast Ohio’s largest pediatric hospital.

Summer scholars work closely with mentors (physicians or other healthcare practitioners) in a division within the department of pediatrics. Mentors help scholars define the project that will become the focus of their summer research efforts.
