On Sept. 9, Akron Children’s Hospital will add two locations in Stark County as it welcomes the practices of Children’s Clinic to its network of pediatric primary care offices.
The new affiliation enables children of Stark, Tuscarawas, Columbiana, Mahoning and Carroll counties to receive comprehensive care close to home – from preventive checkups to treatment for chronic health problems – from the region’s largest provider of pediatric care, according to Ben Teske, director of primary care services at Children’s, which is called Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics (ACHP).
“Our resources, services and now our network of 23 primary care locations throughout northeast Ohio will compliment the great care that Children’s Clinic has been offering children for more than 40 years,” Teske said.
The practices will be renamed and will move to newly constructed offices by Sept. 13:
