Quaker Steak and Lube® to benefit Akron Children’s Hospital

North Canton’s Quaker Steak & Lube® will donate a portion of its sales to Akron Children’s Hospital on the last Monday of each month.

“Dine to Donate” will kick off on July 29 from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Quaker Steak & Lube®, 6073 Dressler Rd., NW, North Canton. Diners are asked to let their servers know they are there to support Akron Children’s Hospital, and a percentage of the check will be donated to the hospital. The offer is good for dine in or carry out orders. The kickoff will feature a musical performance by the Scenic Route at 5 p.m. and special appearances from Pozzie, Canton Charge’s mascot and Coop, Quaker Steak and Lube’s mascot.

Quaker Steak & Lube® and Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley already have a similar relationship with the Boardman and Austintown locations, but this is a first for Akron Children’s and the Canton location.
