“Wish You Were Here,” a Pink Floyd tribute band is hosting a concert at 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22 at the Akron Civic Theatre to benefit the Haslinger Family Pediatric Palliative Care Center at Akron Children’s Hospital.
Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show, which will feature a recreation of Pink Floyd’s 1973 “Dark Side of the Moon” show at Blossom Music Center.
“Wish You Were Here” has become internationally renowned for its large-scale recreations of Pink Floyd's most celebrated tours, as recognized in "The Rough Guide to Pink Floyd."
General admission adult tickets range from $10 to $28, and gold circle tickets are $50 and include a meet-and-greet with the band. Presale tickets will be available on Sept. 19, and all remaining tickets will go on sale on Sept. 20. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster. Part of the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Haslinger Family Pediatric Palliative Care Center at Akron Children’s Hospital.
