Broccoli Salad

Note: This high-calorie recipe is especially for kids with cystic fibrosis (CF), who need additional calories to meet their nutritional needs.

This is a great way to add vegetables to your plate and tastes even better the next day! You can easily cut this recipe in half.

Prep time: 25 minutes (not including chilling time)

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, toss broccoli, raisins, red onions, walnuts, and bacon.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together sugar, vinegar, and mayonnaise.
  3. Pour mayonnaise mixture over broccoli and toss to coat.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Serves: 6
