This quarterly series offers education about pediatric palliative care through a variety of topics, which allow providers to better care for pediatric patients who have chronic, complex or life-threatening illnesses. The sessions are generally geared toward hospices, home care providers, and other agencies that may be helping to provide care in the patient’s home, though we welcome all disciplines of professionals in any community to attend. There is also time for networking with other participants as well as the Akron Children’s Palliative Care Team.
The cost is $35 per person and includes a light breakfast, lunch, materials and parking. Pre-registration is required at least one week before the session.
