The Neonatal Resuscitation Program™ NRP is a national program, co-sponsored by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the American Heart Association (AHA) to teach the concepts and basic skills of neonatal resuscitation to professionals involved in the care of newborns. It is a half-day provider course recommended for physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, respiratory therapists, midwives and emergency medical personnel.Participants receive an AAP/AHA course card on successful completion.

Seating is available on a first come, first served basis and is limited due to the program structure and time constraints. The registration form below must be submitted for attendance. We cannot accept late participants. Registration begins 15 minutes prior to start time listed on the course schedule.
Seating is available on a first-come, first served basis and is limited; registration is mandatory. Akron Children’s offers the course at no cost. Participants must have the supporting 6th edition NRP Textbook, which is available for $60.
