EpicCare Link
(Non-hospital-based providers)

EpicCare Link is a secure web portal connecting non-hospital based providers to information about their referred and admitted patients in the Akron Children’s EMR. Available information includes:

EpicCare Link also allows providers to request consults, schedule appointments, place orders and send messages directly from their Internet browsers. No phones or faxes are needed. Providers will receive confirmations and real-time updates to their patients’ information.

To gain access to EpicCare Link, providers must complete the following steps:

An EpicCare Link team member will follow up within 2-3 weeks of the account request to provide login information and determine if additional training is needed. Training is conducted at the provider’s worksite.

Epic login (Hospital-based providers)

Want to log in to Epic from your home computer, iPad or other personal device? It's easy. Set up instructions are available if this is your first remote login.

Remote access is open only to trained Epic users who have achieved competency.
