Akron Children’s developmental-behavioral pediatrics fellowship is one of only 36 ACGME-accredited training programs of its kind in the United States. Our 3-year fellowship allows for the training of 2 physicians each year who are board-certified or board-eligible in pediatrics or pediatrics/internal medicine.
Our goal is to produce an academic developmental-behavioral pediatrician who is:
Fellows are expected to have excellent knowledge of research methodology and to publish a paper or complete another scholarly activity in the area of their interest. Upon completion of the training program, the graduating fellow will be eligible to take the American Board of Pediatrics certification examination in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics.
