The center’s multidisciplinary team consists of specialists with extensive training and experience in this area, including a plastic surgeon, an interventional radiologist, an otolaryngologist and a general surgeon.

At the clinic, a thorough assessment is conducted to determine each child’s physical and psychosocial needs. An individualized treatment plan is developed, including interventions that are carefully timed to restore a child’s appearance and function as quickly and effectively as possible.

Children should be referred to the clinic as soon as a concern is detected. Early intervention can be the key to achieving the best outcomes.

The clinic cares for the entire family, as well as the patient. The team features a coordinator who helps families access financial assistance and community resources, such as the Bureau for Children with Medical Handicaps (BCMH).
