The Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology is now offering shared medical appointments. Held in a group setting, these appointments address a child’s specific medical conditions while providing the opportunity to relate to others with similar needs. Lab work and medication refills are also completed.
These sessions last 90 minutes and are led by a physician, nurse educator or dietitian. The discussion is relaxed and supportive, typically providing patients with more information than they would have received at a one-on-one appointment.
Patients are grouped by age and health concerns. Physicals are conducted by a physician in a private room prior to the appointment.
Shared medical appointments are scheduled the first and second Wednesday of each month. For more information or to schedule, ask at our front desk or call 330-543-3276.
We rely on your generosity to provide quality medical care to every child who needs us.
