Information About Pityriasis rosea

(also known as skin rash)

Pityriasis rosea is a rash that usually starts as an oval patch on the chest, abdomen, back or thighs. It develops into other patches within 1 to 3 weeks. Sometimes the rash itches, and an anti-itch cream can help. It is harmless and doesn't cause permanent damage.
