Information About Oligodendrogliomas

(also known as Oligodendrogliomas Tumors, Brain Tumor)

These tumors start in brain glial cells called oligodendrocytes. These tumors can spread or grow into nearby brain tissue and cannot be completely removed by surgery. Oligodendrogliomas rarely spread along the CSF pathways and even less frequently spread outside the brain or spinal cord.
