Information About Bone Cancer

(also known as Bone Tumor, Sarcoma)

Tumors are lumps of tissue that form when cells divide uncontrollably. When tumors start inside the in the skeletal system they are called bone tumors. Benign tumors are not cancerous and do not spread from their original location. They can come back at their original location. Malignant tumors are cancer and may spread cancer cells to other parts of the body.
