Information About Achondroplasia

(also known as Dwarfism)

Achondroplasia is an inherited disorder of bone growth that causes the most common type of dwarfism. Characteristics include a normal to large-sized head, shortened arms and legs, a normal-sized trunk, and waddling gait.
