Information About Ebola virus

(also known as Ebola virus disease (EVD), Ebola hemorrhagic fever (EHF))

Ebola is a viral disease spread among primates and humans. Symptoms include fever, sore throat, muscle pain and headaches followed by vomiting, diarrhea and rash. Those affected may also eventually suffer from decreased liver and kidney function, as well as internal and external bleeding.
