(also known as Arthrogryposis multiplex congenita, amyloplasia)

Arthrogryposis is a congenital disorder characterized by stiff joints and abnormally developed muscles, affecting nearly every joint in the body in the most severe cases. The cause is not known but it is not believed to be a genetic condition.
