Information About Restless legs syndrome

(also known as RLS, Willis-Ekbom disease (WED), Wittmaack-Ekbom syndrome)

This neurological disorder involves the urge to move a body part to stop or relieve unusual sensations. It usually affects the legs, but can also involve the arms, torso, head, and even phantom limbs. Moving the affected body part eases the symptoms, providing temporary relief.
